So, we are here to keep the transparency for our travelers by imbibing a few guidelines in Satpura terms and conditions where your booking will be hassle-free. Check on the following points and document requirements, which are very useful at the time of advance booking.
Entry Permits & Booking
- All safari bookings are made to book online in advance on the official Maharashtra Eco Tourism official website or through authorized agents.
- Booking requires proof of identity (Aadhar card, passport, voter ID, etc.) and must be carried during the safari.
- Entry permits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as per cancellation rules.
- The reservation should be in the name of the individual who will be going on the safari.
Safari Rules
- Guests should report at the gate a minimum of 30 minutes prior to safari hour.
- There are two safaris run every day—morning and evening—— precise timings may vary season to season.
- Max. 6 individuals per jeep permitted apart from the driver and guide.
- There is a compulsory guide and driver with each vehicle. Their guidelines need to be followed.
- No loud noise, music, or shouting is allowed within the park.
Health & Age Restrictions
- Children under 2 years are prohibited in core areas.
- Pregnant women and individuals with major medical conditions are requested not to take safaris because of bumpy rides.
Do's and Don'ts
- Don't get down from the vehicle while going on the safari.
- Don't litter; maintain a clean forest.
- Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are absolutely not allowed within the park.
- Feeding animals or attempting to agitate wildlife is an offense that is punishable by law.
Vehicle & Zone Allocation
- Safari routes (zones) are pre-allocated and cannot be altered after they are booked.
- The park management also has the right to alter zones or cancel safaris due to unexpected reasons such as inclement weather or VIP movement.
- No private cars are permitted within unless authorized specifically..
Photography cameras are permitted, but flash is prohibited.
- Professional shooting or usage of drones needs prior permission from the Forest Department.
Payments
When a customer uses our website to purchase a tour package or any of our associated services for Satpura National Park, we require a deposit in advance to secure the reservation. The remaining balance can be paid when the customer arrives at the location, but before our services begin. We are the only ones with the authority to determine the payment method and the upfront payment amount. Depending on the type of services we provide, it varies.
To hold reservations for hotels and resorts during the busiest travel seasons in Satpura, full payment must be made in advance. Seven Safar Tour & Travels retains the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to alter, modify, or cancel the offer at any moment. Alternative lodging will be provided in a hotel of a similar category in the event that the hotels mentioned are unavailable.
Mode of Payment:
Our user-friendly website provides an option for overseas advance payment through online transfer to our bank through net banking, Master/Visa debit or credit card. Foreign nationals can make payment through Paypal, currency notes / traveler cheque or through master/visa American Express Credit Card. Please note that in case of payment made through credit card, the bank charges as applicable would be added to the total amount and will be paid at the same.
Policy Regarding Cancellation/ No Show / Early Departure
In case you are postponing or cancelling your tour/travel plans for Satpura National Park due to any unavoidable reasons, you must intimate us in writing. Please make it sure that cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive your mail in writing. Following cancellation policy would be applicable:
- 10% of the tour price is due 30 days before arrival for Select Booking in Satpura National Park.
- 30% of the tour price is due 15–29 days before arrival.
- 40% of the tour price is due 7-14 days before arrival.
- 50% of the tour price is due 2-6 days before arrival.
- No refund if you don't show up within 48 hours.
Park Closure Zones
- The park is closed every Tuesday for core zones.
- Basically, Core zones are closed during months of monsoon July to September, but a few buffer zones are open.
Eligibility for using our official site
